Protect your winter pool cover

by Greg Sands posted Dec 27 2013 1:00 AM

Pool CoverIt is very important to keep the water level under control on your pool's winter cover.  We recommend that you try to keep the water level around 2-3 inches on above ground solid covers as well as water tube style in-ground pool covers.  The temperatures are on the rise and you should take advantage of this small window to pump or syphon the excess water from your cover.  I recommend that pumps and hoses be checked for proper operation and to make sure that all of the ice has been purged from discharge hoses.  Damage to your pool cover can occur if excess water is left on the cover for extended periods of time. This is a service provided by Backyard Dreams.  Please give us a call at 618-467-6447.  Have a Happy New Year!
