Tips for getting the most from your hot tub experience!

Here are five tips to make your daily hot tub experience the best it can be.

  1. Time: Twenty minutes is the recommended time to spend in the tub at one time.  This allows you to get the benefits of improved circulation, detoxification, and cardiac output.  Don't overdo it, you can always come back later for another dip.
  2. Temperature: you will find your favorite temperature somewhere between 101 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit.  My wife and I prefer 101, but many of our customers prefer 104.
  3. Mood: a dip in your hot tub can change your mood from grumpy to mellow in a few short minutes.  You might want to use aromatherapy scents, that are made for hot tub use, to help you relax.
  4. Company: the hot tub is a great place to re-connect with a loved one enjoying the warm water and quiet conversation.  My wife and I discuss the events of the day while winding down in our Sundance Spa.
  5. Drinks: water or light beverages are recommended to help keep you hydrated.  Alcohol is not recommended as it may heighten some health risks.
